Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time
Occupational Therapist position offers an opportunity to work
within an elementary and secondary school setting in Bernalillo,
NM. The role requires delivering services to an estimated caseload
of 40-45 students, focusing on developing both fine and gross motor
skills essential for student success. Candidates will provide
direct support on-site, fostering improved functional outcomes in
the school environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and
implement occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual
student needs across elementary and secondary levels. Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate
therapy goals into the classroom. Support fine motor and gross
motor skill development to enhance students participation in school
activities. Document student progress and maintain compliance with
relevant licensing and education standards. Qualifications: Valid
or ability to obtain New Mexico RLD and NMPED licenses. Experience
in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred.
Proficiency in home health and healthcare OT settings is
beneficial. Skilled in delivering services that improve fine motor
and gross motor abilities. Commitment to providing on-site therapy
services; remote work arrangements are not supported for this
position. Location: Bernalillo, New Mexico (On-site work required)
