Anesthesia Technician Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,688 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Anesthesia Tech Profession: Clinical - Allied Specialty: Certified Duration: 12 months Shift: Day Call and weekend call Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years preferred in a Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Room, Operating Room, Med/Surg, Pharmacy, or Bio-Med setting. License: Required CPR/BLS Certifications: Attainment of ASATT certification within five years is required. Must-Have: High School diploma or GED. Description: Under general direction, provides assistance to anesthesiologists and CRNAs during the pre, intra, and post-operative care of patients receiving anesthesia. Provides supplies and equipment for the delivery of anesthesia in all anesthetizing areas. Responsible for cleaning and replacing supplies and equipment in between operative cases. Ensures that supplies and equipment are in proper working order for each anesthetizing location. Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required. Essential duties include planning and coordinating organizational change. Anticipating and addressing customer needs effectively. Educating employees and customers, transferring knowledge as necessary. Functioning as an effective contingent member and team member. Acquiring and applying superior skills to achieve quality outcomes. Demonstrating strong dialogue and customer service competencies in interactions with customers.
