ICU/Critical Care RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102! Job Title:

Experience: 1 years License: Pending Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
NIHSS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Description: This
position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive
Care Unit. The shift is scheduled for nights. The duration of the
contract is 13 weeks. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of
experience in the ICU. Pending licenses will be accepted. The
expected patient ratios are 1:2. Floating to medical-surgical units
may be required based on facility needs. Weekend shifts will be
part of the schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in
managing critically ill patients. Key skills include neuro
intensive care, surgical intensive care, and management of patients
with multiple organ dysfunction. Candidates should be proficient in
interpreting dysrhythmias, administering medications, and managing
ventilated patients. Knowledge of infection prevention and
isolation precautions is essential. Experience in handling various
intensive care procedures and protocols is required. Suctioning,
phlebotomy, and ventilator management skills are necessary for this
role. The daily census may vary, and the unit typically has 32
beds. Support services include physical therapy, respiratory
