Job Description Type of Opportunity: Part-Time (.45 to .89) FTE: 0.500000 Exempt: No Work Schedule: Varied Days and Hours Location: PMG - RR High Resort 4100 Education: High School Diploma or GED; Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred. 2 years ED patient care experience including triage experience preferred. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred. National EMD License preferred. Credentials: Paramedic Licensure - New Mexico; BLS/CPR; ACLS; Valid NM Driver's License Paramedic I -- Paramedics without either an Associate--s Degree OR 5 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience -- Requires NM Paramedic license -- Includes Paramedics who are not in a minimum of .45 pointage Paramedic position will remain in this grade Paramedic II -- NM Paramedic license AND 5 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience OR -- Associate--s degree (any field of study) Paramedic III -- Associate--s degree (any field of study) AND 5 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience OR -- Bachelor--s degree (any field of study) Paramedic IV -- Associate--s degree (any field of study) AND 10 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience OR -- Bachelor--s degree (any field of study) AND 5 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience Paramedic V -- Bachelor--s degree (any field of study) AND 10 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience OR -- Master--s degree (any field of study) AND 5 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience Summary: Performs advanced patient care within State approved scope of practice in urgent care settings. Receives emergency medical telephone calls, urgent care calls and to dispatch medical ambulance crews to designated PHS locations to provide emergency care to injured or ill patients.
