In Northern New Mexico, you’ll find a distinguished community
hospital that’s actively interviewing for an Assistant Nursing
Manager to join its Emergency Department leadership team. You’ll

Reporting to the Administrative Director of the Emergency
Department, the RN Emergency Nursing Assistant Manager will lead an
experienced and dedicated team in a unique environment. You’ll
oversee the clinical work of over 30 FTEs, including CEN Emergency
RNs, Stroke and Cardiovascular Nurse Specialists, two ED Nurse
Practitioners, and a full range of Emergency Technicians.
The Emergency Assistant Nursing Manger will take clinical and
administrative oversight of a freestanding emergency facility.
Resembling an Urgent Care Clinic, but operating under the
regulations and quality standards of TJC and CMS, this 8-bed
facility serves as an alternative to a hospital visit for
ambulatory patients with minor wounds, burns, and various other
ailments. Fully staffed by emergency professionals, this facility
can also serve the community as a triage and transfer center in
case of natural disaster.
You’ll get the opportunity to hone your clinical and administrative
management skills in this high-volume, high-pressure environment.
Clinically, your Emergency Nursing experience will allow you to
lead a large nursing staff in continuing education, performance
improvement, and clinical development. Strong communication skills
will certainly be necessary, as the Assistant Nursing Manager will
be in constant contact with radiology and laboratory professionals,
technologists, and providers to coordinate care for the

Manager will oversee a small, but dedicated office staff who
coordinate patient billing, ordering of materials and supplies, and
community health. You’ll be the facilities leader in matters of
quality management, risk reduction, and patient safety, always
