Job Description Job Description $20-DOE Flatbed - Dump Truck - Moffit/Donkey Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a dedicated CDL A Driver—Yard Associate to join our team. In this dual role, you will transport materials between our locations and assist in daily yard operations. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of the branch as you assist customers and maintain inventory while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront of your work. As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, your interaction with customers will be crucial in providing them with the best experience possible. You’ll be expected to exhibit exceptional customer service skills along with the ability to operate various equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers. Assist in store when needed Perform regular physical inventories and cycle counts Customer job site and warehouse delivery Assist in yard operations, including loading, unloading, and moving product Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues Report defects, accidents, or violations Requirements Proven work experience as a CDL Driver Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Valid CDL license Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment Strong customer service skills Experience with flat beds and dump trucks At least a CDL A is required Moffit & forklift experience is a plus Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources Profit Sharing We have the 4 C’s that make your job a career!
