HZ is--a leading full service design--firm providing innovative planning, engineering, architectural design, construction and program management, and design-build project delivery to our clients in the public and private sector. We provide quality solutions for our clients and employment opportunities to qualified talent.-- Responsibilities:

• Produce design plans--for public works and land development projects including roads,--streets, storm drain, sewer, water and reclaimed water, trails, schools, utilities and civil facilities, storm water quality management plans, drainage reports, cost estimates, proposal, parcel map and exhibits.
• Assist project manager in plan production which includes preparation of plan and profiles of streets and other underground utilities common to land development.
• Assist project manager with design plans, specifications, construction support, and cost estimating.
• Research materials and assemblies for design and construction drawings as directed by supervisor.
• Compose and prepare graphic materials for presentations and documents. Requirements:
  • Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and--Excel
  • Knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques
  • Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects
  • Ability to read redlines and modify drawings accurately
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
