Job SummaryThe Procurement Specialist III is responsible for the development, execution, and administration of the procurement plan. Will work with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Design Manager to develop a procurement plan to meet project and business objectives; including but not limited to: cost, timing, and quality. Will also be responsible for driving the procurement activity from supplier identification, rf(x) development and administration, and source to pay function.Essential Duties and Responsibilities---Designs and administers the procurement plan from supplier identification, through rfp solicitation, sourcing, contract negotiation, and P.O. creation---Responsible for the overall development of the procurement plan---Pre-qualifies suppliers and subcontractors---Complies with all applicable processes and procedures ----Closes coordination with peers in construction, engineering, and project management---Resolves disputes among Exyte related groups and suppliers---Negotiates terms and conditions with supplier and subcontractors to minimize risk impacts ----Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:---Strong interpersonal and communication skills---Strong project management skills---Exceptional organization and coordination skills---Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)---SAP, Oracle, Ariba experience preferred---Minimum Requirements:---Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related required---Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred---Apics Certification preferred ---5+ years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
