Essential Functions:

• Ensure the policies, procedures, and practices of the Sterile Processing comply with standards established by all regulatory agencies.
  - - - -
• Surgical instrumentation, or equipment (orthopedic, GYN, General), washers, sterilizers and high-level disinfection processors.
  - - - -
• Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, and assembles a variety of complex surgical instruments and instrument sets, including endoscopes, i.e. gastroscope and bronchoscope, and colon scopes.
  - - - -
• Performs the operation of cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of equipment.
  - - - -
• Maintains accurate documentation in accordance to standards set by OSHA and the Joint Commission.
  
  
  Position Qualifications:
  
  Education and/or Experience:

• High School or equivalent
  - - - -
• Prefer previous sterile processing experience
  - - - -
• Prefer certification as Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
