Job Overview
The Milestone Transport Service Driver L1 is responsible for safely driving/delivering materials and goods to support the Transport Service Team in the daily execution of service operations to the set standards and ensuring compliance to support excellent service quality and customer engagement. This role is a full-time, onsite position in an environment that may consist of a large warehouse, data center and internal transport services.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• The primary responsibility of the Transport Service Driver is to drive safely to their destinations.
  
• Transporting of inventory/goods by box truck and cargo van (No commercial driver's license required) in accordance with all safety procedures and protocol.
  
  
• Performing the following duties, including but not limited to, collecting inventory/goods from the designated collection point, ensuring all client documents are compliant with agreed processes, and ensuring the consistent delivery of Inventory/Goods in good condition to client.
  
  
• Providing input to the Transport Service Dispatcher to support daily planning the safest and most efficient shortest to clients end point by taking factors like road conditions, traffic, local restrictions, and environment into consideration.
  
• Conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, assisting in the scheduling of regular maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and inform management of any issues.
  
• Ensuring professional interactions with Milestone, client colleagues and stakeholders.
  
• Unloading of inventory/goods at the destination and ensure clients sign the necessary paperwork to record the successful transfer of goods.
  
• Completing all assigned training and attend operational meetings in support of Transport Service execution.
  
  
  What You Will Need to Succeed:
  
  • Current valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
    
  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card physical exam (US only).
    
  • Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test (US only).
    
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
    
  • Ability to safely lift and move a maximum of fifty (50) pounds
    
  • Excellent communication skills (English)

    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • Current CDL Required
      
    • HS Diploma or GED
      
    • Minimum 1 year of box truck driving experience
      
    • Minimum 1 year of material handling in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment is a plus.
      
      Compensation
      
      • Estimated Pay Range: $31.00/hr.
        
      • Set schedule - 7:30am-4pm M-F
        
      • Home every night
        
      • No working on weekends
