Job Description Company Description Highland Drugs is a locally owned independent retail and compounding pharmacy. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Technician in Santa Fe, NM. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions, maintaining accurate patient records, managing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and assisting in day-to-day operations to maintain an efficient and organized work environment. All technicians are expected to learn all aspects of the business, from traditional filling to compounding. Qualifications Experience with processing prescriptions and knowledge of pharmacy practices Proficiency in supporting pharmacy technicians and managing inventory control Strong customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse groups Attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory standards is a plus Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred or willingness to obtain certification High school diploma or equivalent required Compounding experience a plus, but willing to train the right person
