Executive Clinical Director Description Are you a compassionate,
dedicated and experienced individual looking to make a difference
in the lives of others? The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) will
provide leadership within the team, administrative support and help
create and drive program development and interprogram
collaboration, ensuring that we fulfill our mission to deliver
high-quality mental health services. The ACD will work
collaboratively with the Executive Clinical Director, staff, and
community partners to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability
of our programs. Our Assistant Clinical Director will have a
demonstrated professional history of a commitment to improving the
overall well-being of individuals and families impacted by trauma
and stress by providing enhanced therapeutic support tailored to
their unique needs. This role involves working closely with
individual clients (children and adults) to address mental health
concerns, enhance communication, and foster healthier family
dynamics as well as mentoring and training staff to meet these
needs. Additionally, the Assistant Clinical Director is responsible
for supporting agency development, creating and implementing
programming to meet the needs of clients and staff, fostering and
maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and participation
in daily operations of the agency. If you have a passion for

nonprofit model. Our client base includes people experiencing
family stress, trauma or separation including divorce, experience
in the foster care and adoption systems, immigration,
post-incarceration reunification, and families caring for children
with emotional needs which make parenting challenging (such as
neurosensitivities, developmental delays and mental illness). We
support stability and trauma recovery through individual and family
counseling, groups, classes, personalized parenting coaching and
consultation, and family bonding retreats and camps. To honor our
commitment to providing all communities access to excellent
support, we accept a variety of insurance panels, private pay and
subsidized sliding scale funding to ensure equitable access for all
clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Work
collaboratively with our Executive Clinical Director to develop and
implement the organization’s strategic plan in alignment with its
mission and vision. Create and maintain relationships with external
referral sources, foster cross-program collaboration and create new
avenues for program development and marketing to reach targeted
populations. 2. Program Management: - Support in the development,
implementation, and evaluation of counseling programs and services.
- Monitor compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and
ethical guidelines. 3. Financial Oversight: - Participate in
fundraising efforts, including grant writing and donor relations,
to secure funding for programs 4. Staff Management: Support in the
development and implementation of a MSW intern/MFT trainee program.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the internship program
and supervise interns/trainees directly Regularly participate in
group clinical supervision and triadic supervisions; may hold
primary supervisory responsibilities for identified staff and/or
serve as substitute supervisor as needed. Provide group and
individual clinical supervision consistent with the BBS
regulations. Support the ECD in recruiting, training, and
supervising a diverse team of clinicians and administrative staff.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional
development and collaboration. 5. Community Engagement: - Represent
the organization at community events and build relationships with
stakeholders, including clients, community leaders, and partner
organizations. - Advocate for mental health awareness and access to
services within the community. 6. Clinical Services: Provide direct
services to a caseload of clinical clients (individuals, couples
and/or families), with the primary focus being in-person services
to children 5 at least 2 days/week in the office. Be willing to
panel with agency insurance panels; offer limited amount of sliding
scale spots per year Maintain clinical documentation to agency
standards Qualifications: - Valid clinical licensure and in good
standing with BBS (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC; LCSW preferred) - Completed
supervisory training as required by BBS -Master’s degree in Social
Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field - Meet all BBS
requirements to provide clinical supervision - Minimum of 5 years
of experience in a nonprofit or healthcare setting, preferably in
mental health or counseling - Clinical experience with children and
families who have experienced trauma, family separation and other
ACES - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational
skills - Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
and foster a collaborative team environment - Familiarity with
legal and ethical standards in mental health services Salary &

growth Compensation: Compensation for this position is based on
separate rates for administrative and clinical duties as follows:
Administrative tasks rate: $40/hr (includes supervision of staff,
group supervision time, time spent onboarding and training new
employees, program development and budgeting) Clinical Tasks: The
ACD is paid out 70% of the cost they earn from providing clinical
services through insurance or private pay billing. *Note- this
position may become salaried in the future The expected ratio of
work is approximately 10 hours administrative time per week, 15
