About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified OR RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating
Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum two (2) years current
experience required in large OR. Must have successfully completed
at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: State Nursing
License or Compact State Nursing License Certifications: BLS
required. PALS preferred. ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Candidate must
be able to scrub. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed
to a fast-paced environment. Description: Floating between
departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an
assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective,
patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of
patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning,
implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs,
actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care
through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team.
Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and
standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as
prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents
according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family
learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the
episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical
supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes
patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education
and competency testing per unit standards. Epic experience
preferred, but not required; can train on-site. Ortho, EENT, and/or
