The RN is responsible for assessing resident conditions, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and ensuring patient safety while maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. This role requires independent clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to respond promptly to changes in resident status. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members Provide wound care, IV therapy, and post-acute/rehabilitation nursing care as needed Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs when applicable Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility protocols Maintain accurate and timely electronic or paper charting Requirements : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state-specific) Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (rehab, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred) BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if required by facility) Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Experience with medication administration and patient documentation Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Must pass background check, drug screening, and health requirements per agency policy Preferred Qualifications Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing facilities Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) Prior travel or agency nursing experience Apply now to start your next travel adventure!
